We went out on Sunday morning to watch the marathon runners starting off. It was a gorgeous day but I didn't fancy running 26 miles in that heat. I didn't fancy running 26 miles in any kind of conditions, to be honest.
It's been a while since it's been clear blue skies in Edinburgh and I've had my camera with me so I thought I'd get a panorama of the city from Salisbury Crags, a shot I've been meaning to get for a while. This was made up of about 10 verticle shots stitched together using photoshop CS4. I continue to be blown away at how accurate PS CS4 does this especially given it's completely automatic. Seriously, there wasn't a single fault in the stitching which was made all the more impressive given that the shots were all hand held.
Was please with the result, but it definitely needs to be viewed larger to appreciate it so here it is.
P.S. I still love the fact that I can see the whole of the large shot on my new monitor :)
